Confining phase transitions feature a rich range of phenomena. I will focus on the scenario of a non-Abelian theory with heavy quarks. In this setup the dark sector baryon is stable and provides a good dark matter candidate. For the first time the effects of the phase transition on the relic abundance are taken into account, which turn out to be significant.
I will discuss our approach to the phase transition that uses lattice simulation data as an input. Finally, I will discuss the phenomenology and potential new signals that can originate from such dark sector relics.
