Description
Dr Anastopoulos has made significant contributions to the ATLAS core reconstruction software and performance that have been recognised through an ATLAS Outstanding Achievement Award (2022) ``for outstanding contribution to the preparation and ongoing development of the offline reconstruction for Run-3 and beyond``. He is currently the ATLAS Combined Reconstruction convener and in the past was coordinator of the ATLAS electron photon performance group.
The talk will attempt to cover the basics of tracking a calorimeter energy reconstruction, with a focus on electromagnetic object reconstruction , examples of future trends in the area will also be given
