This is the third edition of  the Muon Precision Physics Workshop (MPP2024). 
The first edition of the workshop was held in 2022 (see here) to kick off a new muon physics programme in Liverpool funded through a Leverhulme Foundation award.  The aim of the workshop is to focus on the different activities of the muon programme in Liverpool, UK and worldwide and discuss possible plans and collaborations.

The workshop will start on Tuesday 12th afternoon and will finish on Thursday 14th evening. On Friday 15th there will be a RMCL2 working group meeting as satellite of this Workshop.

Attendance of the workshop is by invitation.

The workshop takes place at the Spine (map).

 

Accomodation

There are several hotels in the vicinity of the venue for the meeting. These can be booked through most generic hotel booking sites, or directly.

Travel to Liverpool

 

By train

Arriving by train from elsewhere in the UK you arrive at Lime Street station, which is about a 20 minute walk from the venue or a 5 minute taxi ride.  

By plane

Arriving at Manchester Airport you can travel by train to Liverpool Lime Street station or use an airport transfer. For the various options see: Liverpool: How to get to and from Manchester Airport

Arriving at Liverpool Airport there is a bus service (500) to the city centre, or you can use a black cab. For more details see: Getting to and from the airport | Liverpool Airport

By car

There are different parking option near the venue. The nearest is the Paddinton Village multi storey car park (map)
