Abstract: The NA62 experiment at CERN dedicated to measurements of ultra-rare decays of the charged kaon with the decay-in-flight technique collected a large data set corresponding to 6*10^{12} kaon decays during its first run in 2016-2018. A measurement of the K+-->pi+nunu decay rate based on this data sample is presented. Searches for lepton number violation and production of heavy neutral leptons in kaon decays are also presented. Prospects for NA62 Run 2 in 2021-2024, and long-term plans for a high-intensity kaon beam facility a CERN are discussed.
